Membership
What do we do?
- Organize dances held on campus every Friday night!
- Provide lessons at every dance
- Offer a place for our members (that means you!) to practice every week
- Go to workshops with national swing dance champions
- Have lots of fun!
What do you get as a member?
- FREE admission to 5 Friday night dances
- FREE one-time shoe chroming (suede on the bottom of your shoes - good for dancing)
- Discounts on workshops
- Discounted registration and lodging for various exciting swing dancing workshops/exchanges around the country
- FREE place to practice every week
- Lots and lots of new friends
- The ability to swing dance (which is, of course, the coolest thing of all)!
- Fall membership lasts from August until December and can be and used during the Summer.
- Spring membership lasts from January until May and coverage will extend throughout the Summer.
Alumni
Alumni enjoy all of the benefits that UCF students enjoy with the exception of discounts on travel and any money that the Student government allots to the Swing Knights for travel.
How much does it cost to be a member?
- Membership dues are $25 for your first semester as a member, and $15 every semester after that!
